Watermaker

The Village Marine LW200 watermaker was chosen for a more personal reason than most other components.  Yes, we did due diligence researching it as a choice but the clinching reason was a personal recommendation.

Friends, who had spent several seasons sailing in Mexico, said the majority of cruisers there had this watermaker.  It used the least electricity per gallon of water made and never seemed to break.

We have never regretted the choice.  Using less than 13 amps to make more than 8 gallons of freshwater in an hour, we find we never need more per day when cruising.
